Okay, I haven't posted in a while, so I feel like I need to fill whoever still reads my blog in on my summer. So a while ago I saw the newest Harry Potter movie, I thought that the movie was good, but nowhere as good as the book (the harry potter series are my fav. books) . I also went to girls camp, where my mom was the awesome-est camp leader ever. We slept in a-frames and rode horses and went on the slip 'n' slide and went canoeing and that's pretty much the highlights of girls camp. It's going to be in the 100's tomorrow! And we're leaving for Utah on the 31st. That's pretty much it.

So in drama we are writing monologues. For my monologue I chose to be a person on a diet alone with a box of chocolates, it went a little like this

To be, or not to be, that, is the question. Is it fate that has brought this expensive and delectable treat to taunt and torture me in my time of vulnerability? But yet, I must stand strong and resist temptation for if I don't, the consequence will be deadly, my fate sealed. Flab. I cannot have one bite, for if I do, I will be forced on to that torture device, also known as a treadmill. Step after step, repeated motion after repeated motion. Even when tears of sweat pour down my already glistening face I must press on. But think! of the girls who are too skinny, who have eating disorders, I must be and example, I must give in.

Sledding:harmless winter passtime, or a menace to innocent citizens

Picture this,

A little 12year old girl enjoying a snowy winter day at a hill with many other children laughing and sledding. The little girl steps from the sidewalk on to the hazardous icy hill to look for her cousin, she stops, looks around, and over the noise just barely hears a "Watch out" from a large man who pushes a sled with all his might. The girl doesn't have a chance to turn around before she is rammed by a speeding sled. Her legs give way and she falls like a log, right on her back and gets the wind knocked out of her.

Give every one a merry Christmas, make sure you don't hit anyone when you decide to sled.

THE SEA CUCUMBER'S DIET

Once upon a time there was a sea cucumber who only ate mushrooms. Clearly not a lot of mushroom species cultivate under water so therefore you see the sea cucumber's delima. The sea cucumber opted the idea to try new comestibles (food). His first choice was a crab, which, of course was not a great choice considering a crab has a considerably hard shell. When he discovered that didn't work he tried eating krill, which was also a crustacean like the crab. The shell of the krill was hard and could not be broken so the cucumber decided he would attempt one more different food and then he would go back to his diet of pelagic mushrooms. His last food he decided to try was a southern rock lobster which was an unlucky choice considering it was a crustacean. The shell was hard (of course) so the sea cucumber made the decision to stick to pelagic mushrooms.
